Spin the torque converter at the same time to help align the input shaft and stator splines. Lubricate the bearing surface of the hub and slide the torque converter onto the transmission. Pour at least 1 quart of clean ATF slowly into the torque converter. They cost from 40 and on up and take about an hour or so to install usually. RPO codes are typically placed in the glove compartment, which allows you to view the options on your vehicle without ever cracking the hood, or crawling under the car. The first step in this process is to install the torque converter into the transmission.
